Clubhouse, catering & bar

Welcoming you to real Scottish hospitality

Since 1889

Warmth, drams, and stories with the old boys

Your day here will be rounded off overlooking the amphitheatre of the 18th, glass in hand, eyes drawn towards the everchanging colour palette of coastline, beach, distant mountains, and setting sun. Our grand, Victorian clubhouse offers shelter when needed and a terrace for fine weather.

This is Links Golf, Distilled.

A place to belong and a place to return to

With panoramic views across the links, a warm welcome for members and visitors alike, and a calm, comfortable atmosphere, the Moray clubhouse bar is as much a destination as the golf itself.

It’s where friendships are forged, competitions are debated, visitors become regulars, and Moray’s traditions quietly continue - one round, one drink, and one story at a time.

Where the round continues

At Moray Golf Club, the experience doesn’t end on the 18th green.

As evening draws in, retreat into our grand, Victorian clubhouse for welcoming warmth, craic, drams, and stories with the old boys. Ask them about our Westies, our members’ contributions to the Great War, but also remember to share stories of the here and now, because our history is a never-ending work in progress. And you are part of it.

Moray Golf Club Clubhouse

we weren’t just built near whisky, we were built by it.

whisky in our dna

Unlike any other golf club in Scotland, Moray’s foundations were laid not just in turf, but in whisky.

The town of Lossiemouth and its surrounding region are steeped in Speyside’s distilling tradition - and the club itself was founded and fuelled by the great distillers of its time.

As early as 1894, members were laying down casks of Glen Grant for future celebrations. Over the decades, Glen Moray, Benromach, Macallan and others have supported the club - sponsoring holes, filling the shelves, and raising glasses after every round. The “club malt” is not a gimmick - it’s a legacy. A dram at Moray isn’t a ritual. It’s a rightful toast.

Today, that legacy continues. Local distilleries still support the club, sponsor holes, and line the bar shelves. Our club malt is Glen Moray - poured with pride and savoured with stories.

So when we say “Links Golf, Distilled”, we mean it - both in heritage and in spirit.
